20 volunteers from 7 cities that will host 2016 FIFA World Cup (Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Moscow, Samara, St Petersburg, Sochi and Saransk) were selected for Russian volunteer team and came to France to gain experience in organizing the forthcoming championship in 2016.
Lilia Samambetova has become one of the volunteers representing Russia on this grandiose sporting event.
She has been participating in volunteer activities since 2012. It’s no wonder she has got quite experienced in arranging of volunteer projects for global events such as Summer Student Games 2013 in Kazan, World Athletics Championship 2013 in Moscow and the Olympic Games 2014 in Sochi.
On June 9 Lilia came to Nice, France, where she will be working within a framework of ticket program until June 26.
“Opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge acquired during major international events will help us to demonstrate proficiency of Russian volunteers. Participation in EURO-2016 will enable the volunteers of RSSU Student Volunteers Centre to organize FIFA World Cup 2016 on highest level."
Although, volunteers will already be exposed to rather serious test when Russia will host FIFA Confederations Cup 2017.
